Mr. Sitaram Karki – Managing Director

Mr. Sitaram Karki, Managing Director, was born in the Solukhumbu district, located in the northern region of Nepal. He moved to Kathmandu to pursue higher education and completed his Bachelor’s degree from Tribhuvan University.He began his career in the tourism industry as a porter for various trekking companies in Thamel. With dedication and hard work, he progressed to an assistant guide and eventually became a professional licensed trekking guide. He received training from several prestigious institutions, including the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN), and the Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP).Since 2001, Mr. Karki has been actively involved in the tourism sector, gaining over two decades of experience. He has led numerous trekking and hiking trips throughout Nepal and Tibet, including popular regions such as Everest, Annapurna, and Langtang, as well as remote and less-traveled areas of Nepal. Travelers from all over the world have joined him on these adventures.In 2025, he established his own trekking company, through which he has already organized several successful treks and Island Peak climbing expeditions, among others.Mr. Karki is multilingual, fluent in English, French, and Hindi, which allows him to communicate effectively with international clients and provide them with a rich and memorable trekking experience.
