As you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, our Always Himalaya team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. You can spend the day resting or roaming around the vibrant streets of Kathmandu. In the evening, join us for a comprehensive trek briefing and meeting with the team.

This second day is dedicated to obtaining all the necessary permits for your Manaslu Larke Peak climbing. Our team handles all the permits and documentation, while you can roam around Kathmandu and visit famous UNESCO world heritage sites. Our team even provides a guided city tour. In the evening, we’ll recheck all the gear and equipment for tomorrow’s journey.

Your journey begins as you join in for a scenic drive to the Nepalese countryside. The route takes you along the Budhi Gandaki River, offering a glimpse of traditional villages and local lives. You’ll make multiple stops to reach Macchi Khola, a small riverside settlement popular for fish dishes. Spend the night in Macchi Khola.

On day 4, your trek officially starts as you move deep into the lush forests of rhododendrons. Navigating through hills, you’ll cross several suspension bridges over the mighty Budhi Gandaki River. Pass through many waterfalls and traditional Gurung settlements to reach Jagat, an old trading post. Spend the night in Jagat.

As you gain altitude, the trail leads you to the circuit’s Buddhist realm. The path is decorated with Buddhist chortens and prayer flags, making walking a serene experience. While trekking at high altitudes, acclimatization becomes essential to adapt to the thinner oxygen levels. While you acclimatize, it doesn’t mean you’ll waste your day resting. We’ll go on short hikes around the village to Birendra Lake or the Manaslu Base Camp viewpoint. You’ll explore the village’s ancient monastery, interact with the locals, and rest. Spend the night in Sama Gaun.

It is relatively short as you make your way to the beautiful settlement of Smado. Passing through yak pastures and glacial moraine, you’ll reach Samdo, the last settlement before the high passes. Ascend gradually through high altitude desert terrain, where the transition in landscape can be seen. Please make your way to Dharmasala, also known as Larkya Phedi for it serves as the base before crossing the famous Larkya La Pass. You’ll rest for the day and with an early breakfast go to bed.

It is a challenging day as you must navigate through rocky terrain and glacial moraines to reach the base camp. Once there, our guides will help you set up a comfortable camp where you can rest and prepare for the summit attempt. Your guides will give you technical climbing briefings before dinner.

Begin your day early in the morning for the summit attempt. You’ll use your technical climbing skills like glacier travel, rope work, and scrambling leads to the summit. The summit presents breathtaking views of Manaslu, Annapurna range, and countless Himalayan peaks. Make memories, descend to base camp, and spend the night.

Traverse the famous Larkya La Pass at 5,106m and witness the stunning views of Himlung, Cheo, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II descend back to Gho. Spend the night in Gho.

With a long descent, you’ll be walking your last bit of trail as you enter the Annapurna circuit region. Today presents the perfect opportunity to soak in all the experiences you’ve had so far and thank the Himalayas for such a wonderful experience. Drive back to Kathmandu, witnessing multiple villages along the way. City life takes over as you transition to Kathmandu. Reaching Kathmandu, you can spend the afternoon roaming around the streets of Thamel and shopping for souvenirs.
