The Siklis area lies northeast of Pokhara and although it lies close to the main Annapurna trekking trails, the route still has very few lodges or guesthouses.
Siklis has been built on the top of a hill at over 2000 metres, it is a traditional beautiful Gurung village with narrow lanes that are lined by stone and mud houses all grouped in a traditional ribbon pattern. There are five distinct neighbourhoods, Lama-thar, Sabha-thar, Harpu-thar, Dhaprang-tha and Gari-thar, each of which has its own specific role in the community. The trek is not difficult and there is plenty of time to study the many plants and animals as well as taking in some wonderful mountain views.A trek to Siklis is ideal for anyone who loves nature and the countryside as the area is still almost undeveloped for trekking.

However, we can provide a general idea for popular trekking regions like the Himalay’s Nepal which is a common trekking destination in Nepal.

Guide daily cost: $25 to $40 per day
This may include their accommodation, food, and insurance. Some guides may charge a bit more for specialized services or if they have extensive experience.
Porter daily cost: $20 to $25 per day
A porter typically carries up to 20-25 kg of your gear, and this price usually includes their food, accommodation, and insurance.

Cost Includes

- All accommodation in tea houses and tented camps as per the itinerary
- Three meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) during the trek
- Cook, Sherpa’s and porters services
- Transportation, meals, accommodation, allowance, equipment and insurance for all the staff Trekking camping equipment (tent, mattress, pillow, dining tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, shower tent, table with chairs, all kitchen gear/utensils when camping
- Fixed rope for climbing / if climbing
- Garbage deposit fee when required
- All official paper work and all applicable government taxes

Cost Excludes
- Nepal entry visa fee $50 USD for 30 days visa on arrival.
- Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu and Pokhara
- Extra night hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara other than itinerary as well as extra trekking days
- Travel insurance and Mountain rescue service (covers emergency Rescue and Evacuation)
- Entrance fees for Kathmandu Valley sightseeing that cost as well as monasteries and monuments during the trek
- If you are single, Porter cost is extra
- If you prefer to fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara, the flight cost is $105 per person
