Kathmandu, Nepal
From 2010 to 2014 I’ve visited Nepal 4 times for a business trip. In June 2013 and May 2014 I decided to stay a bit longer after my official stay in Kathmandu to see a little bit more about that fascinating country. I was highly interested in the countryside beside the city Kathmandu. Due to the fact that I didn’t have much time for holidays, I decided to hire a trekking guide. As luck would have it I met Sitaram the first time in June 2013. Thenceforth I enjoyed every day together with him.
Sitaram speaks English very well and knew a lot of the places we were visited. Whether if it was sightseeing in Kathmandu or Lumbini or at the trekking routes in the mountains. He told me al lot of background information of the country, its culture, the life of the people and of course of the fascinating mountains in Nepal. Sitaram found always the best solution for me and in every situation he was very responsible, helpful, attentive and as well funny, so we became very good friends and we still stay in contact. Within the next years I will return for the fifth time in Nepal, and Sitaram will be my guide again to visit to visit the everest region. That’s for sure!
My trips in Nepal together with Sitaram:
June 2013:
Kathmandu – Helambu trek from Chispani to Tipini (8 days trek) – Kathmandu – Nagarkot – Kathmandu (12 days in total)
May 2014:
Kathmandu – Lumbini – Chitwan – Pokhara – Poon Hill (3 days trek) – Pokhara – Kathmandu (9 days in total)
I appreciate all the effort which was done by Sitaram to make my stays in Nepal as comfortable as possible. It was a joy and pleasure to visit this fascinating country and to stay with a kind and always friendly trekking guide. I highly recommend Sitaram for trekking tours in Nepal!
