Dudhkunda-pikey cultural trek is newely opened trekking distinations in solukhumbu region.it is famous pilligrim for hinduiest and budist so it is popular trekking trail in solukhumbu region.dudhkunda lake meaning of the milk lake is situated at the dudhkunad himal and numbur himal,localty it known as shorong yul lha,meaning the protector of solu region.it belived to be a holy lake and the locals belive that taking a dip in the holy waters will have wishes granted.while treking to area,you can also enjoy and see the very panoramic views of Mt. Everst, numbur and others snowcapped mountains lying along the area.beside that you also can exolore the huge junle including 3/4 type of Rhododendron flowers.pine tree,birds,wild animals jackle,deer and our national birds obviously near milk lake.

here also you will be able to capture the sceneries of sunrise and sunset same like from piky hill,which is considered to be the of the tallest hill of solu.the name of pikey is given by sherpa languge which means a clan deity.during julu,the locals hold celebrations to worship this particular clan deity.this pike offers the majestic view of Mt. Everst and others many himalyan range and breathtaking sunrise,sunset views in the good weather.this trail passes through most beautifull settlements of braman,chhetri,sherpa and rai Ethnic groups  in this region.here is possible to visit Ancient Budist monastry such as thupten chholing gumba and enjoy with uniqe sherpa  peoples culture,lifestyle and picturesque landscapes.the trekking to the pikey and dudhakunda hills takes you through dences forest of rhododendron and many kinds of wildlife.the trekking to the area begins from jiri after having 7-8 hours driving fromkathamandu and continues to solukhumbu and making excursion to the dudhkunda,pikey hill,the trai end in phaplu and fly back to kathmandu.At the end you can see here diffrent people,culture,launguge and life styles.
